Import free images

Hi Bertrand. Thank you for adding the i18n file to the extension Import Free Images. That also meant we could support the extension in Betawiki. Within an hour of adding the extension, translators of two languages have already worked on it.

I have no idea if you like this type of work (adding support for i18n from a code perspective), but if you do, please take a look at User:Siebrand/tobeadded where I have identified a whole lot of extensions that I think could be supported in extension Translate, but are not for various reasons. I would love you to make an effort to add i18n support for more extensions.

French translations

Hi Bertrand. Why don't you translate the untranslated messages for French?

I know most of these messages are identical, but if you leave them, French will not get the 100% :-)

Committing namespaces and aliases for wrong language

Hi, Bertrand. I requested some days ago committing name spaces and special page aliases for Lower Sorbian (dsb) but you committed namespaces and special page aliases for Upper Sorbian (hsb). Those are two diferent languages. The Lower Sorbian Wikipedia is official since January 12 but namespaces and special page aliases were still in fallback language German. You have to wait for a Wikimedia software update. The namespaces were added in r29891. If the Wikipedia Special:Version is lower than that, it is not active, yet. Cheers! Siebrand 15:02, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

MediaWiki:Double-redirect-fixer/fr

Bonjour, c'est à propos de la nouvelle fonctionnalité pour déplacer les redirections automatiquement lorsqu'on renomme une page. Ce déplacement est effectué par un job qui utilise un nom d'utilisateur pour faire ces renommages ; le nom d'utilisateur est celui contenu dans ce message (pour l'instant Redirect fixer).

Je n'ai pas réussi à trouver de traduction convenable, pourrais-tu me dire ce que tu en penses. J'ai proposé quelques traductions en page de discussion (réfléchis peut-être avant de regarder ce que j'ai proposé pour ne pas être influencé). Seb35 12:17, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

• MediaWiki:External image whitelist/fr : peux-tu STP regarder mon dernier diff ?
• MediaWiki:Closewikis-page-close-reason/fr : "logged" n'est-il pas ici dans le sens de "tracé", "enregistré" ?
• MediaWiki:Closewikis-log-header/fr : j'ai reformulé. Mieux ?
• MediaWiki:Smw_subpropertyarticlecount/fr : idem. Mieux ?
• MediaWiki:Smw_sbv_displayresultfuzzy/fr : je pense que "since" est ici dans le sens de "puisque".

Time to rework an extension?

Hi Bertrand. Recently an extension was committed that needs some work. As you did similar stuff in the past, I was wondering if maybe you want to give that a shot. It's about RecordAdmin. It needs:

• getting rid of "Special" in SpecialRecordAdmin.php
• i18n
• special page alias
• RecordAdmin_body.php with the special page classes
• some additional rework so that wfSetupRecordAdmin() is not needed anymore
• see another comment on mw:Special:Code/MediaWiki/42754#code-comments

I am working to add new features to Search Translations (link) and would like your feedback on the same. I have an idea of a new feature, called "text search with autosuggest" through which you can specify your search filters in the search box itself (apart from the UI), and also have autosuggest to show the possible values for the filter options. An example is this.

Je t'envoie ce mail, car je pense qu'en tant qu'admin de ce wiki depuis plusieurs années tu en sais sans doute plus que moi. Voici la description du problème (meta-wiki) (les changements ont été faits ici depuis plusieurs mois, mais rien ne fonctionne sur le warwiki). Je sais que les changements peuvent prendre plusieurs jours à se faire, mais à partir de 3 mois je pense qu'il y a sans doute un problème quelque part...

Pourrais-tu vérifier / me réorienter vers une personne qui pourra le faire ?
