Hi Koavf. Welcome to translatewiki.net!
You can now start translating.
You should also check the portal for your language, the link is in the sidebar. Other useful pages are linked in the menu next to this message.
Your translations are transferred to the standard product every few days or every few weeks, depending on the product. Please notice that it may take longer before you see your translation in the actual product.
We wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Please leave any questions on Support (the link is also available on any page, in the navigation sidebar). Cheers!

His/her contributions to Spanish are machine translations. Besides, he/she makes strange changes everywhere.
Hello Macofe, I've moved your thread here so that Koavf knows. We don't seem to be in an emergency since Koavf is doing only a handful edits for now.
Koavf, your edits are appreciated (I noticed some fix to at least one project portal) but they are sometimes hard to understand. Also, if you're not a native Spanish speaker you should probably not translate to that language. Please let me know what languages you speak and stick to translating those, or I'll remove your translator rights (non-translators can still be precious around here).
No soy nativo hispanohablante pero entiendo español y hablo cada día.
Gracias. However, it's usually very hard to translate towards a non-native language and Macofe seems to think that the quality of your translations is insufficient. Please try to:
- pay extra attention, e.g. by checking every word and phrase you use on Wiktionary and Google Books;
- avoid translating in huge batches, so that other translators can review your translations;
- at any rate, when a native speaker corrects your translations, let their corrections be.
Macofe, would that be acceptable for you?
Also, Koavf, since Spanish is almost fully translated (congratulations Macofe and the others!), if you want to help around here I suggest that you first ask (e.g. on portal talk:es or to Macofe) what kind of help would be most needed/appreciated. Maybe there's something you didn't think of.
Thanks Nemo. That would be great. Specially your 2° point. Some times, when I see a lot a translations to review made by a non-native speaker (or by a person who abuses machine translations), I don't have the energy to check them even if I know that there are probably things to correct.
"Strange changes" like what? If you have some problem with an edit I've made, why wouldn't you contact me directly?
What do you think of my most recent edits? Also, did you have any feedback on "strange edits" from before?
The ones from 13:36 to 13:45 on Oct 14 seems ok. They seem to be very easy to translate and they happend to be one of the machine tranlation options. So I can't tell if your translations to Spanish have improved so far.
Pues, si hay ma's problemas con mis contribuciones, favor digame. Quiero aprender ma's de tu idioma y tambien quiero contribuir aqui'. Mi castellano no es perfecto pero usualmente es suficiente para conversir con mis campa~eros en trabajo o en una entrevista (por una revista o en el censo de me patria). Estoy aprendiendo y practicando my espa~ol cada di'a.
I think the following changes of yours should be reverted: https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Wikimedia:Wikipedia-android-strings-about_privacy_policy/es&diff=5608495&oldid=5607160&rcid=&curid=3896655 https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Wikimedia:Wikipedia-android-strings-about_terms_of_use/es&diff=5608496&oldid=5607159&rcid=&curid=3896654
It doesn't matter if the HTTPS version of the page exists or if you prefer it over the HTTP one.
If you think that it's better to have a link to HTTPS you should reported somewhere else so that the original English string use it.
