您好，我想问下“被回退”会产生什么歧义呢？因为我改成“被回退”之后，在中维tg群里也有人提出异议，觉得应该强调“已然”而不是强调“被动”。我们都没想到产生歧义之处（）

MediaWiki:Discussiontools-replywidget-mention-tool-title/zh-hans 中的譯文我也還是傾向於譯出「一位」，首先根據原文「Mention a user」可知，這個工具確實是用於提醒單位用戶，如果不使用一位，那麼「提醒用戶」看起來沒有對象，是提及幾位用戶呢，還是提及所有用戶呢？在生活中，老師說：「我要提問一名學生。］而不能說「我要提問學生」，後者會產生歧異。

您举的例子确实会产生歧义。但是我觉得在UI界面里，不译影响不大。因为究竟是提及几位用户，点一下就知道了，如果只能提及一位，那么用户一般会下意识地再次点击按钮添加提及用户，个人认为不会造成困惑。谢谢。

（抱歉这么久才回复）仔细想了想，数量确实不重要，不过我还有点担心「提及用户」会不会被错误理解成偏正短语，「mentioned user」之译呢？

个人认为不会。首先，“mentioned user”应该译为“被提及的用户”或者“提及到的用户”才对。

其次，顺便提一下上下文，这个message是在回复工具的toolbar中一个图标的tooltip，按照上下文按钮应该执行动作才对，不太可能理解为偏正短语。

你好，對於 MediaWiki:Searchsuggest-containing/zh-hans 的翻譯我認為是有必要加冒號的，原文為「Search for pages containing」，它想要呈現的很有可能是下面這樣：

Search for pages containing

bread, milk and eggs

因為語序問題，譯文中包含只能放在句中，那它會是下面這樣的：

搜索包含此内容的页面

麵包、牛奶跟雞蛋

這時便顯得不太協調，可以加入冒號，變成下面這樣：

搜索包含此内容的页面：

麵包、牛奶跟雞蛋

這樣就比較通順。

感谢留言。之所以要删掉是因为之前新版Vector搜索也用了这个message，但是前后跟随的内容不一样，为了能够在两种上下文中都能理解，我才加入了那个冒号。后来新Vector改用了独立的message，我认为那个冒号没有必要，于是就删去了。（见phab:T290392）

现在看来加上也无妨。如果您要回退，我没有意见。
