About Kiwix:Android.ui.no email application installed/sc translation.

Hi @L2212, I noticed you have reverted my changes for this translation https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Kiwix:Android.ui.no_email_application_installed/sc&oldid=12726894&diff=prev. But the translation is wrong as the English version is updated recently so can you please update this translation because due to this, our lint job is failing, and also this is a outdated translation which can mislead users.

Hi @MohitMali, I've reverted it because that translation was gibberish and not in Sardinian, like the last one you just did (and I hope there are no other ones, but I will have to check now). A string being outdated does not justify replacing it with an automatic translation (in these cases, very, very terrible ones, I don't know what engine you used but these results are awful), because that's way worse that leaving it like that or even just deleting the translated string's page.

There is a reason why sites like this one exist, and that's because translators cannot be fully replaced by automatic translations and also the accuracy of the models is quite different from a language pair to another.

What you should do if there are outdated strings is to mark them as outdated and, if they create an issue, not to import them into the project until they have been updated by a translator, and leave them in English. By inputting a wrong translation there you risk misleading and confusing users, complicating the translators' work (because the strings do not appear in the list of the ones to fix, and unless someone has email notifications turned on like me it would go undetected) and, going back to the automatic translations systems, to make those worse. Since many of them use open source text material like translation memories taken from here to train themselves, in fact, by submitting wrong translations and marking them as valid you are feeding them wrong data and lowering their quality.

So please do not do it again, that has never happened with another project so there is no good reason why this one should be different.

Salude!
