Its documentation says that this message is used to describe a server status. However, Vicuna:Settings-lang-info/qqq says that it is also used as a confirmation button. Since I need two different translations for each situation, this message should be splitted.

Toliño Fala aquí comigo 10:44, 4 June 2013

It was fixed some time ago, documentation updated.

"Empty fields not affecting"

Please clarify.

Siebrand18:39, 2 September 2013

It means: "if you left empty field, current text will not be overwritten". Replace text?

"VicuñaUploader ." should be "VicuñaUploader." (whitespace).

  • Hello-newsession (“Error while loading settings: settings file is incompatible with this version of VicuñaUploader.”)

You're fixing this in the VicuñaUploader source code, and not here, right? Fixing it here accomplishes nothing.

Siebrand16:13, 8 July 2013

Why? English language is not syncing?

Yarl 16:21, 8 July 2013
Siebrand16:24, 8 July 2013

Your answer should be: RTFM ;). OK then, I'll fix it.

Can you please indicate where you updated this? I just updated the source code, and didn't find the change in ./src/cuploader/text_utf8/messages.properties

Siebrand06:35, 10 July 2013

Should be ok now. Sorry for delay.

Populate fields individually or edit them as a group (Crtl+E to select a group)

What does this mean? Does not look like English...

Siebrand16:47, 21 April 2013

So maybe suggest something else :). It means you have two way to add description to file.

  1. you can add info one at a time (one-by-one)
  2. you can select more files and hit Ctrl+E; then you can add the same desc. for more images
Yarl 18:51, 5 July 2013

Thanks for clarifying. How about "You can populate fields individually or edit them as a group (Crtl+E to select a group)"?

Siebrand16:45, 8 July 2013

"delete ... from program"?

I think "remove ... from the list of files" is more appropriate.

  • File-delete-confirm (“Remove selected files from the list in program?”)
Shirayuki (talk)11:40, 24 April 2013

Please take a look now.

Yarl 19:10, 5 July 2013

Thanks. It seems to be okay.

Shirayuki (talk)21:41, 5 July 2013

The idea is that you change it in the source code, and then the sources are synchronised here. See Why one can't edit English-language messages on here?

Siebrand16:23, 8 July 2013

Suggesting rephrase. A file name being occupied is not standard phrasing. Use something like "A file with this name is already present on the server".

Context needed. Why use "File categories" here? Is that the same as "Categories"? In that case, drop "File"?

Siebrand17:38, 21 April 2013

It should be File's categories but I dropped first word like you said.

Yarl 19:31, 5 July 2013

Could you replace "eg." by "e.g."?
