go where you like

Hi,

MediaWiki:Jumptonavigation/pcm and MediaWiki:Jumpto/pcm are currently almost identical. They appear next to each other, so if you keep things as they are now, it will look like this:

Go where you like: go where you like, find-am

In English, it looks like this:

Jump to: Navigation, search

So, at least one of these messages should be changed.

Done. Thanks.

Hi,

Is it correct that "Go" is sometimes translated as "Find-am" to Nigerian Pidgin? It doesn't necessarily mean "find" in context.

Amir E. Aharoni (talk)19:16, 23 May 2022

Go, I suppose in this context means to move forward with what you want to do. This can mean "Find-am". It can also be translated as "kontiniu". Both are correct and can be be understood locally. A better option is "du-am" which means to carry out an action. Thanks.

Hi,

You've asked to enable Efik here. Is anyone actually going to translate into it?

Amir E. Aharoni (talk)17:58, 14 May 2022

Hello Amir,

Yes, as you can see on incubator there are about three other editors ready to work on this with me. I've been occupied with pcm, guw and other things lately. We'll start fully next month as I need to guide these other editors but I'll start working on it by myself until then. Thanks for the reminder.

No rush. Please submit translations only when you know the language well enough to be sure that the translation is correct.
