Re: Invalid translation

Hi, Nike! Concerning the translations in which I preserved the English text, I've done this because (the explanation is long, please forgive me if you notice that I could use fewer words...):

1. I DO NOT SPEAK, READ OR WRITE in Esperanto, but
2. Years ago, Esperantists decided to change the whole explanations that were not written in Ido to ESPERANTO, because, they said "most Ido speakers were also Esperanto speakers"... Well, THAT'S NOT MY CASE. Most of the cases, the structure of words in Esperanto is completely different, the evolution of these two languages was not the same in more than 100 years (Esperanto was created in 1887 and Ido was created in 1907 as a reform proposal for Esperanto which was not adopted and became an apart language...). Of course the amount of people who learn and speak Esperanto is much larger then the amount of people who learn and speak Ido, but this does not give Esperantists the right to suffocate Ido.

As I told you, I began learning Ido without needing to study Esperanto. I started collaborating with Ido wiki many years ago, and one day, my surprise, I saw the whole menus that once were written in English (and easier for me to comprehend) transformed into... ESPERANTO!! (which I do not comprehend). That's why I've maintained many menus in English - it's NOT simple at all for a single person to rewrite more than 80 THOUSAND ITEMS in order to create a better understandable guide of "how-to-do-this-or-that". I'm also one of the fewest writers of Ido wiki, and I must review and improve old articles (sometimes long ones with many errors, written by people who didn't know the language and made many mistakes or wrote incomprehensible phrases) and also... write new ones! Besides that, I come here to translate and improve the menus, and as I said, I tried to prevent that some of the menus in English became Esperanto texts...

If you removed my privileges of translator, I beg you to give them back to me, for the reasons I presented you. I'll try to translate as many texts of the manu as possible - but IF it's possible for YOU to block an English text be automatically translated to Esperanto BEFORE I KNOW HOW TO (or have enough time to) TRANSLATE IT TO IDO, please help me. Imagine if you were collaborating to a Wiki project in your language situated in a computer server in China and, one day when you open the page of that Wiki, all the menus that one day before were written in English became written in Chinese, and you do not understand Chinese or have a Chinese translator guide... That's what happened to my small Ido Wikipedia project... Please understand that I did not want to infringe any rule, and I do not want to infringe any rule, and I will not "translate-English-to-English" again. Feel free to start a new discussion there about reverting the change. If you get support from others, then it can be done.

Hi Nike! I understood your considerations about the translations fully or partially consisting on English source text. I acknowledge that this behavior is not acceptable, I promise you not to do this again, and will review my existing translations to fix the issue. Please forgive me.
