fil

Hi!

Thank you for your translations into Tagalog!

I wanted to ask for your help with something. I'm not sure how did it happen, but a few dozens of translations were submitted with the code "fil" instead of "tl". Many of them have a "tl" equivalent, too. I made a table on this page: User:Amire80/fil.

I would like to clean it up and delete all the fil translations, but I don't want to do it without asking anyone. Perhaps there are some useful things there.

Can you please go over the list and check whether there is anything good in the fil column? If you find anything, please edit the tl string and put it there. Once you are done, please let me know, and I'll delete everything else.

@Amire80: Thanks for the heads up. I think the "fil" entries started when someone proposed a Filipino Wikipedia. I think the proposal did not prosper since the Filipino language is a variety of Tagalog, and they are basically the same. Anyway, as per my review, the "tl" entries are more understandable messages compared to the "fil" entries. There are also no useful things in the "fil" entries. With that, I recommend that you just delete all the "fil" entries since most translators of Filipino/Tagalog here in translatewiki often edit or add "tl" entries.
