Could you setup a French demo ?

The mifos.org website includes a online demonstration of the product. Could it include a public test profile for testing the translations (in their alpha state, just to bue used by translators) ? I created a "mifosfr" account on the mifos.org demo server, in the demo center "Paris (test)" and regional bureau "France (test)" for getting the default French locale when logged on. Could the demo server import the new translations from translate, or does it have to wait for a future software update to be in sync and test the result ?

Great - awesome to see the French translation is complete! We have a Continuous Integration test server that includes the latest code and translations: http://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MIFOS/Test+Servers

The server running the french translation: http://ci.mifos.org:8095/mifos/loginAction.do?method=load

username: mifos password: testmifos

Under Admin->System Information, you'll see the release name: mifos-v1.7.x-beta. Basically all the TWN commits to the 1.7.x branch are merged with origin/master which is then being served up by this CI. So this should show the latest translations you all did for us. Thanks again!

Hi Jasmine, German is currently at 100% too. Thus it would be great to have a German language test system to see if everything is in order with the translations. Thanks and cheers

The server has definitely not loaded any one of the translations. These are the same old broken ressources that were present before I started the job, and this has still not changed (none of the translations have been "continuously" integrated).

Yes the server you are refering to in your reply was already the server that I was refering to (in the starting message of this thread) when I created a user there with the French locale as its default preference.

I'm not convinced that the translations are really being integrated on this test server, or this is not the server that we can access online from the Internet (if ever you see these translations from your development intranet). I have tested all other lited servers in the 1.7.x branch (for Release E), and none of the mcontain all the translations I have completed.

It's possible like you are rejecting automatically all translations if you previously had some of them (even if they were highly bogous). If this was a bug, you'll have to resync your "continuous integration" stream, or that you have placed them in a separate branch of your versioning system, which is not the branch currently used by the test server.

Hi Verdy p, just give them some time. Most probably, as you suspect, there are some issues which have to be resolved first. I am sure that they do their very best to integrate the translations provided by translatewiki.net and come back to us as soon as this is done. Additionally we have Siebrand here who will make sure that everything proceeds at one point or the other. I understand that they are all volunteer developers as we are volunteer translators. Cheers

I had translated 100% each time I wrote here.

Only today, there were 2 additional strings added that I have translated as well (the firs tone was new, the second was added as fuzzy, I changed it to add the missing term that was absent from your fuzzy translation). So this is 100% once again.

Anyway, my 1200 or so translations were completed more than one month ago, and still today, there absolutely no one of them on your test server. It is easy to see just from the first screen after logon : you still see "Quick Start", "Administrative tasks" in the header of the left column, and in the "Admin" page, you'll see an occurence of "{0}". All these were translated since long. Everything is in the same fuzzy state as in the beginning, nothing has changed.

Hi Verdy,

Here is a quick update: I see that "Quick Start" and "Administrative tasks" have been translated in our messages bundle but the left column header isn't localized yet. I have created http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOS-4253 and http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOS-4255 to address this.

Edit: http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOS-4245 addresses the "{0}" issue.
