In the message group ConfirmEdit Questy Captcha is it possible to translate the captcha questions? Or is it possible to translate the questions used on the create an account page on translatewiki.net? If so, where do we translate these?

Does QuestyCaptcha even support localised questions? The point of QuestyCaptcha is that questions are configured locally by each wiki, so they are in the configuration files for translatewiki.net.

So if they used QuestyCaptcha on a multilingual site like Commons they could only have the questions in the site language? I guess that Commons would choose to go with a different type of Captcha, such as a sum, which most scripts and language could handle.

Sure, QuestyCaptcha is not a viable solution for wikis with many thousands or millions users. Wikimedia projects use FancyCaptcha (which is broken as well, but has at least an appearance of correct functioning).

No. That would be problematic. Give a little thought on how questions and answers are localised in public and then used to checking if the other side is human...
