I am a little bit lost. I am a translator and do not really know if I have to do something more than translating the terms and phrases we are given.

Welcome! On this wiki we let translators just translate, so yes: you don't have to do anything else. :) Open Special:Translate and translate, that's it. See also FAQ for more detailed info.
