How long does it take to translations to be live?

How long does it take to translations to be live?

I was wondering, what is the average time for translations to go live nowadays? (e.g. I translated MediaWiki:Logentry-spamblacklist-hit/pt 9 days ago, but it is not on ptwiki yet, so it is taking more than one week)

It depends on owner of page, which is translated. He must not apply changes at once - he can review it first or do something other - he also can not publish that translation ! In your case that is MediaWiki - ask about that on their page. Cheers !

Helder, nothing changed lately. That extension's i18n is currently slightly broken and there were no commits; do you have other examples?

Suppose I translate any message of MediaWiki interface today (new example MediaWiki:Copyright/pt-br). How many days (hours? weeks?) is it supposed to take until I see the translation in use e.g. on Portuguese Wikipedia?

Nemo reminded me on IRC about the FAQ, and I found the answer at FAQ#LocalisationUpdate.
