Welcome to Betawiki!

Hi O. Welcome to Betawiki. Before you can use Special:Translate, please request translator rights at Betawiki:Translators. Please create a user page on which you describe which language(s) you will be working on.

Once you have started translating, please remember to often request a commit of your translation work at Translating:Tasks. This makes the number of changes easier to handle for the devs.

I wish you a productive and pleasant stay. Cheers! Siebrand 21:02, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Coordination

Hi O. Excellent to have you on board Betawiki. Please be aware that thus far many Chinese languages has been maintained outside of Betawiki. More specifically: zh-classical, zh-hans, zh-hant and yue. Shinjiman is regularly submitting patches for them. As far as I know, we have not been in contact with him. Maybe you can make an effort to get him to work in Betawiki if you know him and want to work on the same languages? Our experience is that working both inside and outside Betawiki is a disaster waiting to happen, because Betawiki page overrule the code repository on export. Please let me know your thoughts. I'll try to get into contact with that user. O2 () 21:39, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Never mind, he's on wikibreak. I'll see if I can get a response when he comes back. O2 () 21:46, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK, please do not forget about this. Meanwhile you can go here "full force", of course. He has also worked on basically any existing "zh-" language. Cheers! Siebrand 21:54, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
