SWIS (homepage) is an image viewer for SignWriting. SWIS software is available under the GPL, with the International SignWriting Alphabet in raster available under the OFL, and the documentation available under CC-by-sa.
This is a proposal for a new project.
I hope to move the extension code repository to extension SWIS on the MediaWiki SVN after I internationalize the code and format according to MediaWiki coding conventions.
I am currently writing the swis.i18n.php file by hand, but I may investigate Poedit for windows or gettext for PHP and Javascript. It really depends what the translatewiki.net workflow uses.
