Translating:LibreMesh
LibreMesh (homepage) is an international community developing tools for wireless community networks. The firmware (the main tool) allows simple deployment of auto-configurable, yet versatile, multi-radio mesh networks. The software is released with the AGPLv3 license.

How to start translating:
- Create an account on the front page of translatewiki.net and configure your profile, languages, etc.
- Do the test translations that it asks you to do, in order to verify that you know both languages and earn the translator permission.
- You might need to wait until a human approves your account. You should get a confirmation email once your account is approved.
- Return to this page and click on "Translate this project" (in your chosen language) at the top of the page.
Translators may add LibreMesh to their babel box or include {{User LibreMesh}} to add themselves to Category:LibreMesh translators. Also, consider adding yourself to the map (an approximate location) so we get an idea of where people are collaborating from.

Our current languages throughout the project include English (South Africa, others), Spanish (Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, others), Brasilian Portuguese, Italian, Catalan, Valencian, German, Turkish, Xhosa. We welcome contributions in any language! There is community interest in LibreMesh in some languages that don't have any translation yet: Kichwa, Awa. Many thanks to the translatewiki.net community who within an hour of the creation of this space, already translated all the strings into Mandarin and Greek!
Useful tool for people using more than two languages

If you are a translator you can choose to display messages on the edit screen in other languages, as well as English and your own language. These assistant languages are set in the 'Edit' tab of 'My preferences'.
Anybody can see all the translations of a message by clicking on 'In other languages' in the navigation bar when viewing a message in any language. This takes you to the special page All translations.
For example, if you speak Brasilian Portuguese, Spanish, and English, then you can set up "assistant languages" so that you see both English and Spanish translations as you translate into Brasilian Portuguese.
Translation Notes
Some vocabulary is not yet standard across the entire project, for example the difference between "node" and "station". Still, please try to use consistent language across all parts of the project. We can create a Terminology as the core of language standardization. If the standard term doesn't make sense or isn't the best translation in different dialects of a language, we can create distinct translations for each dialect.
