MediaWiki:Categorytree-member-num
Categorytree-member-num ("($5)
")
Why !!FUZZY!! ?
- Non-complete translate
- $5 do not use - $5 is optional, $5=$1?
- $4, $1, $2, $3, $2, $1, $2, $2, $3, $3 unknown?
You should translate, not customize the message.
Customization is possible in each local wiki. Examples:
- http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Categorytree-member-num&action=edit
- http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Categorytree-member-num&action=edit
Customization is not possible via translatewiki.net? This messages will newer be updated?
Hoi, customisation is done locally when a message does not fit the local circumstances. What we are localising is MediaWiki for ANY application of the software. This means that anything that is really specific to a Wikimedia project is to be customised by an administrator of the local wiki. Thanks,
Ok, thank. But my opinion: this message (by default) may be more informative for ANY application of the software. For example, if the number of subcategories is zero, it display (0) or another variant - nothing, but may displaying (143p, 5f) - 143 pages, 5 files.
You can propose that to the developers of that extension.
Ok, thank. I already proposed this to one local administrator.
May be, sense of default message variant is the same: Querypage-disabled ("This special page is disabled for performance reasons.
")
I filed bugzilla:26405.
