Template:Maps-par/doc

This is the documentation subpage for the parent Template:Maps-par page.

Usage:: This template is used for describing the system messages of the Maps extension related to its parser functions and tags as well as the parameters available to them.

Syntax:

{{Maps-par|1=name of the parser function|2=name of the parameter}}

Parameters:

1= name of the parser function
2= name of the parameter

Example:

{{Maps-par|geocode|allowcoordinates}}

generates:

This is the text describing the "allowcoordinates" parameter of the "#geocode" parser function as well as the "geocode" tag provided by the Maps extension. This description is used by the #mapsdoc parser function to help generating in wiki user documentation as explained on the help page for generating documentation.
