- You should use परियोजना as it is more formal and is already used in official Hindi translations of Wikimedia-related content, ensuring consistency across platforms like Wikipedia, Wikidata, and MediaWiki.

About "discard"

i was hoping if someone would be able to give a better meaning for this word i only know "छोड़ें". Suggestions will be appreiciated Mithun 477 (talk) 18:35, 23 February 2025 (UTC)

- Thank you for your suggestions! I think निकालना (Nikaalna) and हटाना (Hataana) are great options here, especially since we’re talking about discarding edits in an editing context. They convey the idea of removing or eliminating changes more accurately. While छोड़ें (Chhodna) is a good general term, it might not fully fit this specific scenario. What do you think? - Agreed. Chhodna generally means to leave it, while the other two can and do mean to discard/remove, remove probably being inferred here. BTW, where exactly is this being used, some context of the message will probably help. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 14:32, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
- i didn't mean by the context i was thinking of adding the word to the terminology and i found on the wikimedia generally the context is for editing purpose. Like when we discard something we edited on the site. I found that context to be used most commonly so i was thinking maybe to add that in the terminology but also specify the context to remove any redundancies. What do you think?
