MediaWiki:Config-memcache-badport/qqq
Appearance
Used as error message. Parameters:
- $1 - 1 (hard-coded)
- $2 - 65535 (hard-coded)
See also:
- Config-memcache-badip ("You have entered an invalid IP address for Memcached: $1.")
- Config-memcache-noport ("You did not specify a port to use for Memcached server: $1.
If you do not know the port, the default is 11211.")
FIXME: can we specify an link-local IPv6 address (e.g. for a Memcached server running a separate VM on the same host, without any IPv4 binding, or whose IPv4 local host in the guest VM is protected by a strong firewall isolating different VMs) and port number, like [[::1]]:1234
where the colon separator can only be safely parsed if the IPv6 address is delimited within brackets (because it can embed a variable number of colons with the standard notation)?
